Still finishing up  my Holiday card! I know, I know I'm late.  I figured I would post 2009's until I'm done.

Some like it Hot!

While Christmas shopping yesterday I came across the illustration I did for Scientific Explorer Lava-Blasting Volcano Kit.
It's such a kick seeing your artwork sitting on the shelves at a toy store.

This one is sold exclusively through Learning Express . There was only one left so I just had to pick it up!

Doodle Day 2008

Back in 2008 I was asked to take part in Gillian Anderson's (from the X Files*) USA National Doodle Day.

Artists, athletes,musicians and actors were asked to donate a quick sketch on an index card to be auctioned off on eBay. 

All money went to help fight Neurofibromatosis. 

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. 

NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington's Disease combined. 

Here is my doodle. It did very well in the auction too! 

I was glad to help out.
